Please be advised that the Public Hearing will begin at 6:15 PM at the Red Barn in East Greenbush Town Park. The Town Board meeting will follow the public hearing at 7:00 PM at the Red Barn.
 

The Town Board will continue the public hearing initiated on August 12, 2020 to consider the following matter(s): The Town Board will receive Public Comment on four (4) transportation projects expected to be constructed in 2021. These projects, which were presented to the Town Board on August 12, 2020, include a Traffic Safety Project to Construct Improvements at the Intersection of US Route 4 and the I-90 Westbound Ramps initiated by NYSDOT and certain traffic impact mitigation projects required in connection with Regeneron’s Tempel Lane Campus development (the “Phase 1 Traffic Impact Mitigation Projects”). The Board will accept comment that addresses the follow specific projects:

  Phase 1 Traffic Impact Mitigation Projects:

• Installation of a traffic signal at Tempel Lane and Route 151;
• Widening of Couse roundabout to add additional northbound and southbound lanes on Route 4; and
• Addition of a right turn lane into the Hampton Inn Access Drive on Route 4 southbound.
• Installation of a roundabout at Route 4 and I-90 Westbound exit (i.e., the “Traffic Safety Project”).

The Town Board desires to receive public comment on the aforementioned projects together and jointly, given that the projects involve major transportation corridors within the Town and all four (4) projects will be constructed by NYSDOT. In addition, the Town and NYSDOT have contemplated entering into a Betterment Agreement in order that Phase 1 Traffic Impact Mitigation Projects might be advanced by NYSDOT with Regeneron funding.
