Kenneth Garcia of Placentia was arrested for enticing a minor and possession of child pornography.

INCIDENT: PC 288.2(a)(1) - Enticing a Minor, PC 311.11 (A) - Possession of Child Pornography

LOCATION: Town of Crestline

SUSPECT: Kenneth Philip Garcia, 29 years old, resident of Placentia

SUMMARY:

Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Twin Peaks Station began an investigation into cyber tips that were reported by an Electronic Service Provider (ESP). The cyber tips contained conversations of an adult male who elicited child exploitation images from a child victim who resided in the community of Crestline. Through investigation, investigators identified the suspect as Kenneth Philip Garcia, a transient in the City of Placentia.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, investigators from Twin Peaks Station coordinated efforts with personnel from the Placentia Police Department to successfully locate Garcia and serve an arrest warrant. At the end the investigation, Garcia was arrested for enticing a minor and possession of child pornography. Garcia was subsequently booked into jail and bail was set at $100,000.
