On September 15, 2020, at 9:00 p.m., the Kern County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant for an illegal internet casino in the 900 block of N. Chester Ave, in Oildale. Deputies detained 36 people at the casino and made 7 arrests. Deputies located 2 ounces of methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia, 3 loaded handguns, two of which were reported stolen, and 6 illegal fish games. The case is being submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for a complaint.
