South Main Street at Peckham Court in Lakeport remains closed in both directions due to downed utility poles and lines. Utility crews are now on scene to replace poles. This full closure is expected to continue for at least a couple more hours and then transition to traffic controls for probably the majority of the day.
Please plan to use alternate routes, drive safely and watch for workers in the area.
The downed infrastructure is due to a drunk driving collision occurring in the area at about 1:30 this morning.
