HUMIDITY: Lowering humidity on Saturday to less than 25% with little or no humidity recovering Saturday night. RH values stay steady from 10-20% Sunday into next week. IMPACT: Any fires that develop will spread rapidly in the hot, dry, windy weather. HIGHEST THREAT... Mt. Diablo and the East Bay Hills above 1000 ft.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
