Weather permitting, roadwork shall begin on Windsor Road from County Culvert (just east of 207 Windsor Road) to Sharon Road on or about Monday, September 28 to Friday, October 9 between 7 AM to 6 PM. Windsor Road will be open to through traffic from 6 PM to 7 AM.

Motorists should anticipate partial and/or complete closure of the roadway for approximately two weeks during construction. Please plan accordingly. Approved detours are:

Detour for Phase 1 (West of Turnpike):
Windsor Road will be closed at Perrineville Road and at Allens Road. Eastbound traffic will be required to utilize Perrineville Road to right on Allens Road to bypass the active work zone. Westbound traffic will be required to use Allens Road to left on Perrineville Road. The road will be closed, with detour required from 7 AM until 6 PM.

Detour for Phase 2 (East of Turnpike):
Windsor Road will be closed at Allens Road. Westbound traffic will be required to utilize Route 539 Old York Road to left on Perrineville Road to left on Allens Road to bypass the active work zone. Eastbound traffic will be required to use Allens Road to right on Perrineville Road to right on Route 539 Old York Road. The road will be closed, with detour required from 7 AM until 6 PM.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 from 8 a.m. to noon, the following roads will be impacted by the #WHATSMYNAME 5K Run/Walk for Samantha Josephson and ride share safety.

* Lake Drive between Union and Route 526
* Hutchinson Road between Lake Drive and Combs Road
Expect delays and temporary road closures throughout the event.
