*RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF SANTA ROSA/SONOMA COUNTY FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING (SAT 9/26) TO 9 PM MONDAY (9/28) FOR WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY*

-WIND:  Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph Saturday night into early Sunday morning with gusts from 35 to 50 mph likely in the hills above 1500 feet of northeast Sonoma and Napa counties. Winds will ease during the daylight hours of Sunday but then another burst of offshore winds will develop Sunday night into Monday morning. The winds on Sunday night will turn more easterly in direction.

-HUMIDITY:  Humidity 30-45% Saturday evening will dry out overnight as offshore winds develop to less then 25% by sunrise Sunday. Relative humidity values staying steady from 10-25% Sunday into early Monday with no humidity recovery Sunday night.

-HIGHEST THREAT:  The hills of northeast Sonoma county and Napa county above 1000 feet. Strongest winds near Mount Saint Helena as well as Mount Tamalpais in Marin county. Persistent offshore winds will reach all the way to the coast Sunday night so coastal Sonoma county including the Walbridge and Woodward fire in Point Reyes will feel the effects of the drying offshore winds.
-IMPACTS: Any fires that develop will spread rapidly in the hot, dry, and windy weather.

Temperatures are expected to rise through Monday with daytime temperatures reaching the high 90s to low 100s. The hottest days will be Sunday and Monday and a Heat Advisory is in effect from 11am Sunday, 9/27 to 7pm Monday (9/28).

*AVISO DE BANDERA ROJA EN EFECTO PARA TODO SANTA ROSA/ Y EL CONDADO SONOMA DESDE LAS 9 PM DE ESTA NOCHE (SÁBADO 26 DE SEPTIEMBRE) HASTA LAS 9 PM DEL LUNES (28 DE SEPTIEMBRE) POR VIENTOS Y BAJA HUMEDAD*
 
-Viento: Vientos del noreste de 15 a 25 millas por hora el sábado por la noche hasta el domingo por la mañana temprano con ráfagas de 35 a 50 millas por hora probablemente en las colinas sobre 1500 pies del noreste de los condados de Sonoma y Napa. Los vientos disminuirán durante las horas de la mañana del domingo, pero luego se desarrollará otra ráfaga de vientos de mar adentro desde el domingo por la noche hasta el lunes por la mañana. Los vientos del domingo por la noche girarán más hacia el este.
 
-Humedad: La humedad del 30-45% del sábado por la noche se secará durante la noche, ya que los vientos de la costa se desarrollarán a menos del 25% al amanecer del domingo. Los vientos más fuertes cerca del Monte Santa Helena así como del Monte Tamalpais en el condado de Marin. Los vientos persistentes de mar adentro llegarán hasta la costa el domingo por la noche, por lo que las areas costeras del Condado de Sonoma incluyendo el incendio de Walbridge y Woodward en Point Reyes sentirán los efectos de los vientos secos de mar adentro.

*TEMPERATURAS CALIENTES PARA EL PRÓXIMO PAR DE DÍAS – EL CENTRO DE ENFRIAMIENTO ABRIRÁ EL DOMINGO Y EL LUNES*
 
Se espera que las temperaturas aumenten hasta el lunes, con temperaturas diurnas que van de los 90 a los 100 grados. Los días más calurosos serán el domingo y el lunes. Advertencia de altas temperaturas en efecto desde las 11 AM del domingo (9/27) a 7 PM del lunes (9/28).
