STANISLAUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE OAKDALE HOMICIDE
Detectives with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department Crimes Against Persons Unit are currently investigating a homicide in an unincorporated portion of Oakdale. Initially received as a call for service to the Oakdale Police Department, officers responded to Oak Valley Hospital for a woman who suffered from gunshot wound injuries. Shortly after 8 am this morning, on Sunday, September 27, 2020, patrol sheriff’s deputies were asked to respond to the 9900 block of Cleveland Avenue in Oakdale to further investigate a suspicious circumstances incident and attempt to locate a possible crime scene or victim.
This investigation is still very much in the earliest stages of gathering information, processing multiple scene locations, obtaining statements & collecting evidence.
