Due to recent thefts in surrounding communities, the Ogden Dunes Police Department would like to remind residents to lock their houses, shut garage doors and to lock vehicles. Many vehicle burglaries and thefts begin with a door that was left unlocked. Also, do not leave valuable items or keys in the vehicle. If you must leave valuable items in the vehicle, be sure they are out of sight and that the doors are locked.

Please report any suspicious vehicles, people or activity immediately to the Ogden Dunes Police Department by contacting Porter County Central Dispatch by calling either 911 (Emergency) or (219)477-3170.
