Guilderland Police continue to receive reports of thefts from unlocked motor vehicles during the overnight hours. Recent reports have been received from the Fort Hunter, Westmere and McKownville areas of town.

• Remember to ALWAYS lock your vehicles and don't leave valuable items inside.
• Lock residences and sheds.
• Use outside lighting, alarms and security cameras if available.

Report any suspicious persons or vehicles immediately. Anyone who has information on recent thefts or has home security video is asked to contact Officer Matt Hanzalik at (518) 356-1501.
