SUBJECT: Burglary Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Two Individuals For Theft and Weapons Offenses.

LOCATION: 1060 Green Grove Road, Ocean Township, NJ
ACCUSED: Evan Raczkiewicz // 27 year old male // Bradley Beach NJ
Andrew Newman // 31 year old male // Belmar NJ
NARRATIVE: On September 21st, 2020 at approximately 12:30 pm, patrol officers were dispatched to a residence on Green Grove Road for a report of burglary. It was learned that the proceeds of this burglary were various firearms. During the course of the investigation, Evan Raczkiewicz and Andrew Newman were developed as suspects.
On 9-22-20 Raczkiewicz was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, burglary, theft and weapons possession. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute pending a court appearance. Newman was charged with weapons possession and arrested on 9-27-20. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute pending a court appearance.
