Friday, September 25, 2020
12:38 AM: Officer Frentescu made contact and arrested a 38-year-old male out of Newark in the 5400 block of Thornton Avenue for burglary. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
1:18 AM: Officer Cervantes investigated a burglary to a business in the 6100 block of Jarvis Avenue. The unknown suspect(s) smashed the front window. Loss was a safe and cash box.

Saturday, September 26, 2020
12:40 AM: Officer Swadener made contact and arrested a 40-year-old male out of Fremont at Cherry Street and Auburn Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.
6:34 PM: Officer Smith responded to a report of a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the area of Broadway Avenue. He located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The juvenile driver did not have a license, but as the juvenile passenger exited the vehicle, Officer Smith observed a gun sticking out of the passenger’s pant pocket. The juvenile was safely separated and detained from the gun. The juvenile was issued a notice to appear to the juvenile court and ultimately released to his parents for various weapon related charges. The vehicle was towed.

2:42 AM: Officer Slavazza and Officer Quinonez made contact and arrested a 21-year-old male out of Belmont on Central Boulevard for driving under the influence after observing his vehicle driving the wrong way. He was booked at Fremont Jail.
2:53 AM: Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 41-year-old male out of Newark in the 6300 block of Baine Avenue for disorderly conduct. He was booked at Fremont Jail.

Tuesday, September 29, 2020
3:41 AM: Officer Riddles made contact and arrested a 32-year old male probationer out of Hayward in the 7000 block of Jarvis Ave for possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia and a driver’s license in someone else’s name. He was cited and released.
