Boil Water Update
All necessary repairs have been made to the water system and the city has been flushing lines to confirm there are no blood worms detected. The boil water notice is still in effect. We are waiting on TCEQ’s approval to rescind it. TCEQ Officials have asked us to ask you to help ensure we have eliminated the blood worms by having you remove the aerator screen on your kitchen sink and/or bathroom faucets (see attached picture), clean it, and then let your water run briefly while checking to see if you see any blood worms.
Because of the amount of flushing, you may experience discolored water.
If you do see blood worms, please contact the City of Trinity at 936-594-2507.
Please call your neighbor or friends who you know receive their water from the City of Trinity water supply.
Instructions:
If you do see blood worms, please contact the City of Trinity at 936-594-2507.
