Pink Patch Project 
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Hayward Police Department will once again join hundreds of other law enforcement agencies around the nation in support of the Pink Patch Project. This effort is to raise awareness about the life saving benefits of early detection and intervention in the fight against breast cancer.
Our officers will wear a specially designed uniform patch this month which will also be available, along with a challenge coin, for purchase to the public. All proceeds will benefit the HERS Foundation. See the information below on how to get yours today.
