NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the deaths of three male Hispanic adults.  The incident was reported Thursday, October 1, 2020 at approximately 3:00 a.m. on the 12000 block of Portugal Court, in the City of Norwalk.

Deputies assigned to Norwalk Station responded to the 12000 block of Portugal Court, in the City of Norwalk, in response to a rescue call.  Upon their arrival, deputies discovered three males lying on the ground in the backyard of the location.  The males were unresponsive and not breathing.  Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced the victims deceased at the scene.  Due to the suspicious nature of the deaths and possible contaminates present at the location, deputies contained the area pending the arrival of Homicide investigators.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that chemicals and possible narcotics were discovered at the location.  As a result, LA Impact Group 12, Hazmat investigators, responded to assist Homicide investigators in processing  the scene and collecting evidence.

Out of an abundance of caution, nearby residents were also temporarily evacuated from their homes.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time
