Voting Information for Knowlton Township

Many Knowlton residents have now received their mail-in ballot for the November 2020 election.  Ballots may be returned in the following ways:

  • Mail it back via the US Postal Service in the prepaid envelope it comes with. It must be postmarked by November 3.
  • Hand it to a poll worker on Election Day at the Knowlton voting location, which is Brook Hollow Winery this year
  • Hand it in now, during normal business hours, at the Warren County Board of Elections office in Belvidere or the Warren County Clerk's office in Belvidere
  • Deposit it in the locked ballot box, which is under surveillance, now located on the landing of the Knowlton Municipal Building.

Residents who choose not to use mail-in voting can still vote in person on Election Day.  Any voters who go to their polling location on Election Day will be given a provisional ballot.  A provisional ballot does not get counted until after the deadline for mail-in ballots to be returned.  This is to ensure that the individual has not already sent in a mail-in ballot.  Therefore, provisional ballots are not counted until November 11.

Due to social distancing requirements and capacity constraints at our Municipal Building, this year Knowtlon's voting location is Brook Hollow Winery on 594 Route 94.

Please see the Warren County Clerk's Frequently Asked Questions, which is attached, for answers to other common questions for the upcoming election.

Finally, thank you in advance to the residents showing kindness to the county, local staff, and poll workers who are working diligently, ensuring this election runs smoothly for Knowlton.
