Felony OWI 4th Offense

The Middleton Police Department arrested 53-year-old Todd Schulze for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated—Fourth Offense, a felony.

On Saturday, October 3, 2020 at approximately 10:30pm, a Middleton Police Officer saw Schulze weaving in and out of his lane on Greenway Boulevard and John Q Hammons Drive.

The officer stopped Schulze and smelled the odor of intoxicants on him. After performing field sobriety tests, Schulze was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.

Schulze refused to provide a breath sample after his arrest. The arresting officer then applied for, and received a search warrant for a sample of Schulze’s blood. Schulze’s blood sample will be sent to the Wisconsin State Crime Lab for analysis. The prohibited alcohol content in Wisconsin is .08.

Schulze was booked into the Dane County Jail for OWI—4th Offense, a felony. Schulze was also cited for Operating Left of Center and Operating with a Revoked Driver’s License.
