Public Assistance Sought in Identification of Suspects

On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at about 12:07 am, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety received a 911 call reporting two adult males on the front porch of a residence, located on the 500 block of Crawford Drive, holding guns.

The two suspects were attempting to gain entry into the residence by banging on the front door and demanding the occupants open the door. The male was holding what appeared to be an assault rifle with a high capacity ammunition magazine.

The homeowners refused to open the door and called 911. The suspects fled on foot toward Crawford Drive. Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety Officers arrived and immediately began an investigation and a search for the suspects. The attached images were recovered from the victim’s private security system.
