Michiana Village Resident,

I would like to take a moment to ask for your support. The Village of Michiana has a millage renewal on the ballot for police/fire/ambulance service. I wanted to clarify that this millage is a renewal and is not a NEW millage.

This millage renewal helps with general police operations and a large portion of it goes to the fire contract with Michiana Shores. This contract is important, Michiana Shores Fire Department knows our community, knows our streets and they also have the added benefit of Medical First Responders.

In my almost seven years as Chief I have enjoyed the overwhelming support for the Police Department and I ask that you renew this millage.
