Watervliet's first responders (Police, Fire, EMS) and Department of Public Works have been working non-stop since yesterday's storm to ensure our community remains safe as we recover from last night's storms.

The City of Watervliet is actively participating in county-wide emergency management meetings to receive the most accurate and current information on this storm recovery. As of now, National Grid does not have a time frame for restoration of power for the Watervliet. National Grid has reported this may be a multi-day restoration effort for some customers. Please plan accordingly and take appropriate measures.
If you have note done so already, please report your outage to the applicable service provider:

A reminder to only call 9-1-1 if you have an emergency! Do not call the 9-1-1 center to report an outage (report the outage to the applicable service provider listed above). Calling the 9-1-1 center will not expedite your request for repairs. 
 
Please check on your neighbors that do not have power and call the WPD/WFD if they need assistance at 518-765-5979.
