Hydrant flushing west of parkway 
Barnegat Township Water Department is conducting the Fall Fire Hydrant Flushing Program west of the Parkway. This procedure is necessary to ensure water quality, remove sediment build-up from water mains and check fire hydrants for proper operation
During this period, a temporary discoloration and loss of water pressure may be noticed. Do not be alarmed. The water should clear up by allowing your tap to run for a short period of time.
