Burr Ridge Officers are investigating a suspicious person, who was knocking on a residential door, shouring about a water main break.
The male subject is wearing a beige sweater, khaki pants, and a green reflective vest. He was last seen in a dark SUV with another unknown person driving.
There is no water main break, and no Public Works employee will approach your house in such a manner. All Burr Ridge Public Works employees have offical identification.
If this person, or anyone suspicious comes to your door, or you see someone fitting this description in the area, please call 9-1-1 immediately. Do not approach.
