Scattergood Gas Line Purge tonight 
The Scattergood Power Generating Station will purge a gas line late this evening, at approximately 11:30 PM. There will be a loud sound and possibly the odor of gas. The El Segundo Fire Department has been made aware and stated it is natural gas being released into the atmosphere and there isn't a health hazard.
