The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Meriwether County in west central Georgia... Southern Pike County in west central Georgia... Northwestern Upson County in west central Georgia... Northwestern Talbot County in west central Georgia... East central Harris County in west central Georgia...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 527 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Olive Branch, or near Talbotton, moving north at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include... Talbotton, Greenville, Manchester, Woodbury, Waverly Hall, Warm Springs, Woodland, Molena, Meansville, Gay, Sunset Village, Atwater, Hilltop, Baughville, Flint Hill, Sprewell Bluff State Park, Sunnyside, Raleigh, Lifsey Springs and Olive Branch.
