Advisory

Secure your vehicles! SPD arrests juveniles involved in car entries on northeast side.

On Saturday 10/10/20, Sheboygan Police arrested four juveniles responsible for entering unlocked vehicles in the Memorial, End Park and Raider neighborhoods.  The thefts or attempted thefts occurred in the late evening hours on Saturday.

Some property was recovered from the teens which may have been stolen from vehicles.  We are asking for residents of these three neighborhoods and nearby areas on the north side to call the police department if they believe they have had anything stolen from their vehicle, even if it's something small or inexpensive.  We will do our best to return any recovered property that can be identified.

This is also a reminder that car owners can take a few simple steps to prevent their car from becoming a target for crime.  The single most important thing you can do is to make sure your car is locked whenever it is parked, especially if it is in the street.  Not leaving anything of value in your car like phones, wallets, or laptops, and parking under a street light or in well-lit areas can also help keep thieves from being interested in your car.

If you believe you were the victim of a theft as described above, please call the Sheboygan Police Department at 920-459-3333.
