[Española bajo] A Red Flag Warning has been issued for the North Bay mountains and valleys and is in effect from 5:00 a.m. Wednesday to 11:00 a.m. Friday due to forecasted strong offshore winds out of the north-northeast
 
DETAILS
* AFFECTED AREA: North Bay valleys and mountains, including all of Santa Rosa
* WIND: Valley winds are forecasted to be 10 to 20 mph, gusting around 30 mph. Wind in the mountains is forecasted to be 15 – 30 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph. Strongest winds are expected overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning. A secondary period of strong winds is expected Thursday evening into Friday morning, but to a lesser degree compared to Wednesday night.
* HUMIDITY: Low daytime relative humidity values with little to no overnight recoveries anticipated.
* IMPACTS: Any fires that start will likely spread rapidly due to the combination of dry fuels, strong and gusty north- northeasterly winds, and very low humidity.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

DETALLES
* ÁREA AFECTADA: valles y montañas del Norte de la Bahía, incluyendo todo Santa Rosa
* VIENTO: Se prevé que los vientos del valle serán de 10 a 20 millas por hora, ráfagas de alrededor de 30 millas por hora. Los vientos en las montañas se pronostican de 15 a 30 mph, con ráfagas de hasta 55 mph. Los vientos más fuertes se esperan durante la noche del miércoles al jueves por la mañana. Se espera un período secundario de fuertes vientos del jueves por la tarde al viernes por la mañana, pero en menor grado que el miércoles por la noche.
* HUMEDAD: Bajos valores de humedad  diurna, con poca o ninguna recuperación nocturna prevista.
