$20,000 REWARD FOR INFORMATION

On October 10, 2020 at 10:16 P.M., officers responded to the 30 block of Ranch Drive on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and found that Causandra Inocencio was injured from a gunshot wound. Officers provided aid to Causandra prior to paramedics arriving on scene. Paramedics transported Causandra to a local hospital but despite the efforts of first responders and medical staff, she succumbed to her injuries. Milpitas Police Detectives identified Kevin James Gitmed as the suspect in this homicide. Gitmed is described as a white male adult, 6’ 1” tall, 250 pounds, bald, and brown eyes.

A combined $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Kevin James Gitmed is being offered by the Milpitas Police Department and the Milpitas Police Officers’ Association in partnership with Mothers Against Murder (www.mothersagainstmurder.org), a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization based in Los Altos.

Reward will be given to the person providing significant information leading to the arrest and conviction of Kevin James Gitmed. If more than one person provides such information, the reward will be divided amongst them but in no event shall the total reward or rewards exceed $20,000. The determination of whether information provided by any person or persons is significant information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons responsible and the determination of the amount of any particular award in the event of multiple eligible receipts, shall reside in the reasonable discretion of the Police Chief for the City of Milpitas whose decision shall be final.
