Incident:         Fatal Vehicle Collision
Location:        1600 Block of N. Locust Ave., Rialto
Decedent:       Juan Prado Luna; 58 year old resident of Fontana

SYNOPSIS:
On Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at approximately 7:13 p.m., the Rialto Police Department received several 9-1-1 calls reporting a collision in the area of Locust Ave., south of Renaissance Parkway in the City of Rialto. Officers responded to the scene and located a deceased male (later identified as Juan Luna) in the driver’s seat of a white 2012 Chevrolet Silverado utility truck. The Chevrolet Silverado was pinned underneath the rear of a 53’ box trailer, towed by a white 2021 Freightliner tractor. Paramedics from the Rialto Fire Department responded and confirmed the Luna succumbed to his traumatic injuries. The Rialto Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is conducting the investigation.
