Free tutoring program now offered at the City of Lancaster’s Lowtree Community Home in your neighborhood.
The City of Lancaster has five local Community Homes, operated in partnership with Grace Chapel - which offers community programs through the Homes. Below, please find an update from Grace Chapel regarding the recently renovated Lowtree Community Home located in your neighborhood.
Dear Neighbor,
I am excited to announce your neighborhood has a home dedicated to serving you and providing free resources to the community! The Lowtree Community Home (43745 12th St W, Lancaster, CA 93534) is staffed by Grace Chapel, with a director and volunteers to serve the needs of your neighborhood.
First, we are launching a Distance Learning Tutoring Program, completely free of charge. All of our staff has been background-checked and fingerprinted to ensure the safety of your children.
Do you have children in need of tutoring during this challenging season? If so, the Lowtree Community Home is available to you. Free tutoring sessions are available Tuesday-Friday from 3-5 p.m. We would love to meet you and support your family as you tackle this new season!
To enroll, visit the home during those hours, or send an email to Maria Vonder Reith, Director of the Lowtree Community Home. She can be reached at [email protected].
The Community Home programming follows CDC COVID-19 Guidance, including admission procedures, social distancing, cleaning/sanitization, and coronavirus signage. For additional questions or concerns regarding our COVID-19 safeguards, please contact the site Director.
Grace Chapel is partnering with Crosswind Community Church to serve the needs of the Lowtree community. We have exciting resources and more programming planned in the future. Stay tuned!
Serving you with joy,
Jeremy Hartley
