Due to the ongoing Covid19 pandemic, the City of Grosse Pointe Farms is recommending the following ' Trick or Treat ' guidelines. These guidelines are consistent with State and Wayne County guidelines.

· Adults should accompany young children
· Where reflective clothing/costumes and carry a flashlight
· Incorporate a face mask into the costume. Masks should not be worn by children under the age of 2 or anyone who has trouble breathing
· Trick or Treat in small groups
· Try to maintain a minimum 6' distance from other participants
· Pass out candy from outside the home
· Trick or Treat between the hours of 5:00/pm and 8:00/pm
· Parents should carefully inspect all treats
· Carry hand sanitizer to wipe hands with if contact is made with strangers or strange objects
· Report any suspicious activity to the Police Department on the non-emergency line (313) 885-2100
