Deputies arrested Sean O'Leary after locating evidence connecting him to several vehicle burglaries

LOCATION: 28000 Block of Lakes Edge Road, Lake Arrowhead
SUSPECT: Sean Michael O'Leary, 40-year-old resident of Lake Arrowhead
VICTIM(S): Multiple theft victims
SUMMARY:
Between September 24, 2020 and October 15, 2020, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Twin Peaks Station received several reports of theft from vehicles parked at the Lake Arrowhead Village. In one instance, the suspect forged stolen business checks and attempted to cash them at the Lake Arrowhead Branch of California Bank and Trust. Detectives at the Twin Peaks Station gathered video surveillance to develop a suspect description and the description of the suspect’s vehicle.
On October 15, 2020, detectives located a vehicle and subject matching the description parked near the intersection of Highway 18 and Pine Drive in the community of Rimforest. Sean O’Leary was contacted and found in possession of stolen property related to the thefts. O’Leary was arrested and booked into jail for Forgery, Burglary and Possession of Stolen Property.
