SUBJECT: Impersonating a Police Officer

LOCATION: State Highway 18 in Ocean Township
ACCUSED: Demarkus Hill, 31 year old male from Old Bridge, NJ
NARRATIVE: On October 15, 2020 Officers from the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on State Route 18 in Ocean Township. During the stop, Demarkus Hill identified himself as a Special Police Officer II. Detective Clune’s subsequent investigation resulted in Mr. Hill being charged with Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer. Mr. Hill was issued a summons and released pending a future court date.
