Hydrant flushing 
The Department of Public Services will be flushing fire hydrants today until 3pm. If you notice discolored water coming from your faucets, flush the tap for 10-15 min. If water does not clear, please call DPS at 657-3169.
Hydrant flushing establishes chlorine levels throughout the water system and helps ensure water quality. It also improves functionality of the hydrants. Please contact DPS with any questions about hydrant flushing. Thank you.
