Homicide Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Bloomington; unidentified suspect is outstanding

INCIDENT: Murder Investigation
LOCATION: 9800 block of Alder Avenue, Bloomington
VICTIM: Pedro Contreras-Cruz, 55-years-old, resident of Bloomington
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 8:30 p.m. Fontana Station deputies responded to reports of gunshots heard at the Miracle Mobile Grove Trailer Park in Bloomington. Deputies arrived and found Pedro Contreras-Cruz inside his trailer suffering from a gunshot wound. Contreras-Cruz was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives with the Homicide Detail responded to conduct the investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and no other details are being released at this time.
Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the suspect involved.
