Richard Gebing is arrested for residential burglary after deputies located him hiding inside the victim's residence

SUSPECT(S): Richard Gebing, a 45-year-old resident of Lake Arrowhead
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Thursday, October 22, 2020, at around 1:57 AM, deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station responded to the 800 block of Virginia Court in Lake Arrowhead in reference to a residential security check. The victim, who was not at home, received an alert on their Ring home surveillance system. The victim saw an unknown white male adult pulling on the front door handle and walking around the exterior of the residence. When deputies arrived, a rear glass sliding door was found shattered. Deputies made entry into the victim's residence and found suspect Richard Gebing hiding inside. Gebing is on active felony probation out of San Bernardino County for vandalism.
Gebing was arrested for PC 459 - Residential Burglary. Gebing was booked at Central Detention Center where he is being held on $25,000 bail in addition to a no-bail hold from San Bernardino County Probation.
