PG&E has notified the Madera County Sheriff's Office of a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event that is expected to affect areas of eastern Madera County. This PSPS is anticipated to begin on Sunday afternoon (10/25/2020) and last through Tuesday (10/27/2020) evening or Wednesday (10/28/2020) morning. The Madera County Sheriff's Office is recommending residents in the eastern Madera County area to start preparing now for this event; updated information will be provided as it is received from PG&E.
