The National City Police Department, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency, will be hosting the Prescription Drug Take Back Day on October 24, from 10:00AM-1:00PM. The drop off location will be at the front entrance of the police department. Due to COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be utilized and required.
Our goal is to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of expired, unneeded or unused prescription drugs while also educating the community about the potential for abuse of medications and the associated risks.
