**WWPD Arrest Made in Bike Theft at PJTS this morning. Seeking Community Help in ID'ing Bike Owner.--Det. Lt. Lee
At approx. 11:30 am an actor was apprhended by Ptl. Cuomo and Ptl. Mangone after the actor cut off a chain securing a bicycle to the bike rack at the Princeton Junction Train Station (PJTS). The bicycle, a Women's Raodmaster Granite Peak Mountain Bike (as seen in the photo attached), had been located in a bike rack next to the Dinky Platform. Great teamwork by Ptl. Cuomo, Ptl. Mangone, and our Communications Center to bring the actor, later determined to have outstanding warrants, into custody while retrieving the bike.
We are actively seeking the owner so we can return their bike to them. Please share this with your friends, family, or others in an attempt to help us locate the owner. If you have any leads in who may own the recovered bicycle, please call (609) 799-1222 or email Det. Sgt. Lai at [email protected]. As always, thank you to our Community for trying to assist us.--Det. Lt. Lee
