SHERIFF VICTOR HILL Orders Willie Wright Placed #1 On The Top Ten Most Wanted For The Attempted Murder Of His Wife.

Clayton County Police responded to a person stabbed call on Lee’s Landing in Jonesboro and found a female victim stabbed in the chest and neck.  The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

 

The suspect has been identified as the victim’s husband Willie Lee Wright who left the scene in a black 2014 Honda Civic EX bearing Georgia tag RHM6874.  Sheriff Victor Hill has ordered Wright placed #1 on his top ten most wanted and has called in his elite Fugitive Squad to hunt for Wright.

 

Wright is described as a 63 year old black male with salt and pepper hair and brown eyes.  Wright is 6ft2 in height and weighs approximately 197 pounds.   Wright should be considered armed and dangerous and if spotted 911 should be dialed immediately.  Any one with information regarding Wrights whereabouts can call the Sheriff’s Office at 770-477-4479, or can use the Nixle tip line for confidentiality.
