As of January of this year, we no longer maintain a Food Pantry on site at our Recreation & Parks office.  Our clients have transitioned over to Aldersgate Outreach Community Center located on Ryders Lane.  Aldersgate Outreach offers East Brunswick residents a better opportunity to maintain food stability for their families.  Families are able to obtain food on a weekly basis including many items we were not equipped to stock at our office.
 
In keeping with the spirit of our Holiday Basket Program, we are hosting a Holiday Gift Card Drive (flyer attached) for the December holidays with all proceeds going to Aldersgate Outreach Community Center.  Our East Brunswick residents & EB School families that receive their services will benefit from these donations.  Gift Cards to Target or Walmart in denominations of $5, $10, $20 can be mailed to our office at 334 Dunhams Corner Road or you may leave them in the drop-box attached to our building near the entrance.  Please be sure to put Attn: Jill Veit on the envelope.
 
Also, as an FYI, we continue to accept non-perishable food items at the Box Truck located at our office parking lot at 334 Dunhams Corner Road.  If the back of the truck isn’t open, please feel free to open the door and place your donation inside.
