Winter Weather Advisory until 07:00AM Tuesday

...Periods of Accumulating Snow and Freezing Temperatures Ongoing...

* WHAT...Periods of light to moderate snow, with an additional one-half to one inch of snow expected. Total snow amounts from the event will average 1 to 2 inches, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. A light glaze of ice from periods of freezing drizzle is also possible this evening into tonight.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas and central, north central, northeast, northwest and west central Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Visibility will be reduced to below 1 mile at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A hard freeze is expected with low temperatures Monday night into Tuesday morning falling to near 20 in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas to near 30 in central Missouri.
