Flash Flood Watch and Strong Wind Advisory beginning late Wednesday through Thursday.

The Flash Flood Watch has been expanded for north and central Georgia. Rainfall totals of 2–4" (with locally higher amounts) will be possible, primarily northwest of the I-85 corridor. In addition, sustained winds of 20-30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph will be likely across the area starting late Wednesday through Thursday.
Fairburn will likely be impacted by this storm. Do not drive through flooded areas. Your vehicle could be swept away. Do not touch or approach downed power lines. Report any emergency conditions via 911.
