Deputy Alfaro stopped a vehicle and found the driver in poss of narcotics & out on bail for a violation in Riverside

LOCATION: Redlands Blvd./Crooks St., Loma Linda
SUSPECT: Anthony Michael Gardner, 38-year-old resident of Beaumont
SUMMARY:
On October 28, 2020 at 7:40 p.m., Deputy R. Alfaro conducted a traffic stop on a gray Dodge Charger in the area of Redlands Boulevard and Crooks Street for a California Vehicle Code violation. The driver, Anthony Michael Gardner, had an active misdemeanor warrant for his arrest totaling $75,000. Gardner was arrested and also found to be in possession of a large amount of suspected methamphetamine. Gardner was then discovered to be out on bail for a violation in Riverside, Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Gardner was arrested for the felony transportation of a controlled substance and an enhancement for committing a new crime while out of custody on bail. Gardner was booked into jail at Central Detention Center.
