The Folsom Police Seek Your Help in Identifying a Suspect

On 09/20/20, Folsom Police officers responded to the area of Castle Park because a male reported a possible assault against a jogger on the Humbug Willow Creek Trial. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim who had multiple facial injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Officers searched the area, but the suspects were not located.

Witnesses described the male suspect as a white male, with very tan skin, thin to medium athletic build, approximately 6’00” tall, late 30’s – early 40’s, short dark brown hair, riding a beach cruiser style bicycle. The male likely suffered a cut on the right side of his face during the assault.

Witnesses described the female as a white, with fair skin, medium build, dyed blonde hair of medium length, approximately 40 years old, also riding a beach cruiser style bicycle.

The beach cruiser bicycles were described as a matching set, with the male’s bicycle being dark colored. The male and female were originally seen traveling westbound on the Humbug Willow Creek Trail and after the assault were last seen traveling eastbound on the Humbug Willow Creek Trail. It is believed the male and female may live or frequent the areas east of Oak Avenue Parkway. Neither the male nor female were described as “transient”.

A witness met with our sketch artist, and the attached composite sketch was the result.
