Jeremiah Silveira of Hesperia was arrested for possession of child pornography

SUSPECT: Jeremiah Silveira, 24 years old, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC), began an investigation into a cyber tip that was reported by an Electronic Service Provider (ESP). The cyber tip contained various images and videos of child pornography. Through investigation, investigators determined the ESP account belonged to Jeremiah Silveira.
On Friday, October 30, 2020, personnel from San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Special Enforcement Detail, arrested Jeremiah Silvira in Hesperia. Investigators from CAC conducted an interview with Silveira. At the conclusion of the interview, Silveira was arrested for possession of child pornography. Silveira was subsequently booked into High Desert Detention Center and bail was set at $150,000.
