Noblesville, IN – On November 3, 2020 at approximately 10:47 a.m., police officers and firefighters from the Noblesville Police & Fire Departments responded to the 15300 block of Union Chapel Road (Noblesville) in reference to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving one vehicle into the rear of a residence located at 15372 Atkinson Drive.

Based on witness statements and other potential evidence at the scene, it appears that a 2020 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling southbound on Union Chapel Road, just south of Greenfield Avenue, prior to the crash. Initial investigative information suggests that the Ford pickup left the right side of the roadway and traveled approximately 500 feet before crashing into the rear of a residence located at 15372 Atkinson Drive. There were no occupants in the residence.

NFD firefighters arrived on the scene and immediately worked to treat and extricate the driver from the vehicle. The driver was freed a short time later and pronounced dead at the scene.

NPD investigators were summoned to the scene to collect evidence and gather information. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time and a medical emergency has not been ruled out. The cause of death will be determined by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

The driver of the Ford will be identified once family notifications have been made. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
