Crime Blotter for the Week of October 25-31, 2020

The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of October 25– October 31, 2020        

October 25, 2020

  • Grand Theft Auto:
A victim reported unknown person stole their vehicle from 1600 Mountain Avenue (Walmart). The victim’s Honda Element was stolen between 8:30 pm and 8:42 pm from the location. Deputies did not locate any surveillance video. The victim’s vehicle was recovered by the Pasadena Police Department on 10-26-20. No one was in custody.
 
  • Petty Theft (Vehicle Molding):
A theft of a vehicle’s bumper molding was reported on the 2300 Block of Maynard Drive.The victim stated between 10-24-20, 2:30 pm, and 10-25-20, 7:38 pm, unknown persons stole the vehicle molding to his vehicle. Deputies did not locate any surveillance video. The estimated loss was $200.
 
  • Grand Theft (Unlocked Vehicle):
A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported on the 2500 Block of Susan Brook Place. The victim stated that on 10-25-20, at approximately 5:06 am, unknown persons stole paintball equipment, gift cards, and a wallet from inside two unlocked vehicles. A surveillance video of the incident was available.The estimated loss was $2300.

October 27, 2020
  • Burglary (Business):
A commercial burglary was reported at 1470 Mountain Avenue (Best Buy). The informant stated that on 10-27-20, at approximately 7:00 pm, one male adult and two female adults entered the store and stole one hundred and nine “Apple” first and second-generation pencils. A surveillance video of the incident was available. The estimated loss was $15,190.68

October 30, 2020
  • Petty Theft (Truck Tailgate):
A theft of a vehicle’s truck tailgate was reported at 1600 Mountain Avenue (Walmart). The victim stated on 10-29-20, between 1:53 pm and 2:11 pm, unknown persons stole the tailgate to his Ford F-150. Deputies did not locate any surveillance video. The estimated loss was $900.

October 31, 2020
  • Petty Theft (Bike) SORT Report:
A theft of a bike was reported on the 1700 block of Business Center Drive.On 10-18-20, between 8:40 am and 9:40 pm, unknown persons stole the victim’s bike from the metro station.Deputies did not locate any surveillance video. The estimated loss was $450.
