Full Notification

On 11-03-2020 at approximately 2:30pm, Vigo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to US Hwy 41 north of Head Ave, in reference to a motor vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck. The initial investigation revealed that the northbound pickup truck crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into the southbound tractor-trailer. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown at this time what caused the pickup to cross the centerline. The names of the drivers involved are not being released at this time pending family notification. The investigation is on-going.
