Chief Norton is pleased to announce that our new online police reporting system is now available. This service offers you the ability to report certain types of crimes easily and at your own convenience. As always, if you prefer to have an officer respond, or to make a report at one of our stations, please call us at 415-927-5150

Our new Coplogic reporting system is web-based, available 24/7, and accessible on any internet-enabled PC or mobile device. This is a simple and efficient way to report a variety of incidents, including identity theft, vandalism, auto burglary, lost property, non-injury vehicle collisions, or documentation of civil disputes. The reported incidents must meet several criteria:
- It must have occurred within CMPA’s jurisdiction, which is the Town of Corte Madera, City of Larkspur, or the Town of San Anselmo
- There no known suspects
- There is no physical evidence, other than video surveillance
- It did not occur on a State Freeway
- Users must be at least age 18 to file an online report.

The reporting system technology is provided by LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions, Inc. and is used by more than 400 law enforcement agencies throughout the nation, including several here in Marin County. The San Rafael, Sausalito, and Novato Police Departments, as well as the Marin County Sheriff’s Office offer this same service to their communities.
