Suspect: Geiman Oswaldo AlvaradoLima, 25-year-old male (In-custody)

On Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020, at approximately 4:14 PM, Redwood City Police Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Regent Street on a report of a stabbing that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located the victim in the rear parking lot of an apartment complex, with a long, thin metal file protruding out of his back. The victim told officers that he was in the parking lot working on his vehicle when his former roommate, Geiman AlvaradoLima (25), stabbed him in the back with the file for no apparent reason. The victim was transported to Stanford Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, officers located AlvaradoLima in the 500 block of Redwood Avenue. He was detained without incident and positively identified by witnesses as the suspect. AlvaradoLima was booked into the San Mateo County Jail for attempted murder.
